A handsome coin was struck commemorating Atlanta-Peachtree Lodge’s hosting of the 5th Masonic District Convention in 2001. The coin features the seal of Atlanta-Peachtree Lodge on its face and on the reverse side features a sunburst design with the wording, “Freemasonry: Ancient Light in the Modern Age; Atlanta-Peachtree Lodge #59; Host of the 97th annual Fifth Masonic District Convention: 2001” Each Mason attending the 2001 Fifth District Convenion was presented with one of the coins as a memento.
In addition, the coins were used as an attendance incentive for Atlanta-Peachtree Lodge members, a gift to Masons who visited Atlanta-Peachtree Lodge meetings and degrees, and as a gift to the Worshipful Masters of other Lodges to which delegations from Atlanta-Peachtree Lodge visited.
